Residency in Paraguay

If you want to immigrate to Paraguay, you may apply for a permanent residence permit. Recent changes in law have eliminated the bank deposit requirement. Now, applicants need to prove economic solvency through stable income sources or investments.

Requirements

• Proof of economic solvency (income, investments, or business ownership).
• Real estate property deed (if applicable).
• Company incorporation documents (if applicable).
• Police certificate from Paraguay and Interpol.
• Health Certificate and proof of legal entry.
• Affidavit confirming compliance with Paraguayan laws.

Dual Citizenship

Paraguay recognizes dual nationality only with Spain. However, naturalization is available after three years of residence, provided the applicant can demonstrate genuine ties to the country. Legal advice is recommended.
